Exchange 2010 mailbox creation

Please check below on the options you have to create Exchange 2010 mailboxes:

 

Single mailbox creation

    1. Quick Creation

      The MS Exchange 2010 Quick Creation option allows for a very quick mailbox creation. To access this feature please follow the steps below:

      • Log in to SiteControl
      • Go to Email and then MS Exchange 2010
      • Select Add Mailbox
      • Finally, choose Quick Creation and click on Begin Creation Process

      As can be seen in the picture below, the only requested information is Name, Email Address, and Password.

      To complete the process simply click on the Purchase button.

      The following screen will request to authorize the charge (if any), after which a confirmation page will appear.

  1. Setup Wizard

    The MS Exchange 2010 mailbox Setup Wizard allows setting up a more in-depth configuration during the mailbox creation process. It includes features such as option to fill in Contact Info, create email forwarding, or create an email alias for the respective Exchange 2010 mailbox.

    To access the Setup Wizard, please follow the steps below:

    • Log in to SiteControl
    • Go to Email and then MS Exchange 2010
    • Select Add Mailbox
    • Finally, choose Setup Wizard and click on Begin Creation Process

Bulk mailbox creation

There is also an option for bulk mailbox creation, so please follow the below instructions in order to create multiple mailboxes at once:

  • Log in to SiteControl
  • Go to Email and then MS Exchange 2010
  • Select Add Mailbox
  • As highlighted in the below picture, please click on "click here to import multiple users"

  • Download and populate the template CSV file and then "Browse" to import it as shown in the below picture

  • Review the list with users and click on "Import" once you verify that all looks good

Important: Please refrain from creating more than 20 mailboxes at once.
